These one shot samples were recorded/performed using a Djembe. It has a 5 1/2 inch goat skin head that is rope tuned with a hand carved wooden shell. Djembe’s are known for their wide dynamic tonal ranges that include deep resonating low tones and brilliant, crisp high tones that are capable of cutting through any mix.

This digital download includes “one shot” wav recordings of 6 different Djembe sounds. The zip file includes a low tone, mid tone, slap mid tone, a soft "tip tap" sound, slap high and a drum stick slap high tone.
