This digital download includes one shot .wav recordings/performances of thirteen different cymbal sounds. A Meinl Cymbals Artist Concept Model - Matt Garstka Fat Stack was used to create these samples. The zip file includes a bow strike with the tip of the drumstick for for short punctual articulations and 12 strikes to the edge of the cymbal for louder cutting accents.

To produce the intense sound from the signature Fat Stack, the cymbals included are a specially made 18” Byzance Dark Crash with holes (top) featuring a sandblasted under side. The bottom cymbal is a 16” Byzance Dark china with holes and a traditional under side. Place the crash over the china (not inverted) to get the signature Matt Garstka sound.

One shot .wav files can be easily uploaded into most drum modules to create spectacular custom sounds for both studio and live applications.
